Café Jacket Extraordinaire
BKS has made many jackets over the years but we have 2 only in size 42” that are truly unique one-offs.
Like waiting for an aged fine wine to be opened, Brian has had the finest of Japanese hides for over 10 years hidden on the shelves in the cutting room which are 1.8mm thick and as tender as a Wagyu fillet.

This rare Japanese cowhide, is sadly no longer available. Someone around 75kg and 5’10” is going to be the male Cinderella in this instance but will have a jacket for life. YKK 10mm silver zips... thread as thick as shoelaces... Outlast lining with a body cooling coating on the reverse side... the passion creating these 2 jackets will surely be felt by the eventual owners

elbows and back.
These are truly luxurious and I’m pretty certain Gucci would charge around £5000 for these beautifully crafted exclusive jackets …so consider them half price at £2499.99 each.

Recent Client work
With all client work there is always an element of continuous fine tuning. We love the ability to exercise tiny refinements through all aspects of garment production. This might be altering the geometry of the curve through the jacket collar in the pattern making stage or deepening an armhole to improve rider comfort. It could be finding new ways to trim the edge of the inside pocket or simply adding piping to the flap behind your jacket front zip. We take all this on at no extra cost as we love to delight our clients with unexpected finishing touches. It’s what defines some of BKS’s design philosophy.

New Waistband construction
No need to worry about made to measure trousers being too tight throughout Lockdown 2...BKS has a new expandable waistband! 3 stud settings each side, neoprene inserts and the whole band constructed from 4-way durable stretch fabric. This is a prime example of our desire for continuous improvement, again at no extra cost. However, this can be offered as an ‘Alteration’ and BKS can upgrade your old trousers to this new design for £199 + VAT. This can give you an extra 2” of room at the same time.
